Innovation offers opportunities for associations to stay ahead of the needs of your members. But what kind of innovation is appropriate, particularly in an environment where resources are scarce? Traditional project management processes or research and development don’t leverage the unique strengths of associations. Successful innovation will require different relationships with stakeholders and different management approaches to ensure continuous innovation.

This workshop focuses on the leadership and strategies to get big things done with limited internal resources. You will explore different ways of sharing information to get buy in and then leverage that buy in to adapt faster and more broadly. Participants will learn how lessons learned from other organizations can help inspire commitment to accomplishing goals.

  • Generate creative solutions to complex association problems
  • Understand and apply innovative approaches to strategic innovation and management;
  • Adopt new perspectives on problems to generate new solutions;
  • Leverage techniques to inspire and coordinate diverse groups to deliver on common goals; and
