NEW 1099 REQUIREMENTS COULD IMPACT YOUR ASSOCIATION
As a part of the recently passed health care legislation, all employers would be required to report to the IRS any purchase from a vendor of goods or services worth $600 or more. Can you imagine filing a 1099 for every business purchase over $600? One-time purchases to reoccurring payments, routine office supplies to new software systems, learn more about the issue and join us by signing the ASAE sponsored letter opposing the new 1099 requirements.
