Winter 2014 Career Fair - Jan. 14
Use the upcoming Association Forum's Career Fair as your Plymouth Rock — a stepping stone to a promising, new career opportunity! It’s free and open to Association Forum members and community partners, and a great chance to meet face-to-face with recruiters and hiring managers from local and national organizations with whom to speak candidly about openings in your field.
The Road to CAE: Informational Brown Bag Sessions
Whether you’re a suburbanite or a city worker, you can learn all about what the CAE can do for you at either the suburban session on Jan. 8 or downtown on Jan. 16. Association Forum CAE Working Group Chair Matthew Hornberger, MBA, CAE, will discuss various aspects of obtaining the CAE — from the application to eligibility to exam preparation to study course details — as well as the benefits of a CAE certification. Bring your lunch and your questions!
CAE Study Course: Spring 2014
Increase your chances of passing the May 2014 CAE exam by joining the Association Forum CAE Study Course, facilitated by current CAEs. Starting Feb. 11 and ending April 22, CAE study course participants will meet weekly on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 8 p.m. for a structured case-study series based on the nine domain areas. You must register by Jan. 31 to participate.
Current CAEs: We Haven't Forgotten You!
All Association Forum CAE members are invited to a special CAE Recognition Breakfast preceding Holiday Showcase on Dec. 17. Registration is required by Dec. 10. Join us at this new event to network with your CAE colleagues and congratulate the spring 2013 CAE class. (You’ll also get a sneak preview of Holiday Showcase lunch keynote speaker Chester Elton as he shares highlights from his upcoming talk.)
