Gail Sussman Miller of Inspired Choice presents

"How to Love Networking for Association Professionals"

Are you an association professional who…

·         Knows that networking is a powerful way to help you reach your careers goals and yet hates the thought of going to networking events and walking into a room full of strangers?

·         Doesn't know what to say, hates small talk, or is uncomfortable starting conversations?

·         Worries about being interesting or experienced enough to contribute to conversation?

·         Doesn't want to be pushy, force a sales pitch or appear to be out to "get" something?

·         Think you don't know the right techniques or have the right personality?

Evidence shows that networking is the # 1 way to accomplish business goals. Just ask your association CEO or executive director! Chances are they will tell you that networking is typically the best way to find and build effective business relationships. Part of successful career mapping is networking and building relationships.

Bring your lunch and improve your networking ability!

In a creative, fun, 4-step process you will transfer your natural skills and success from an activity you love to networking.

·         Manage your career better and expand your circle of influence.

·         Get to know your membership better.

·         Find resources to support your members' needs.

·         Build your confidence in describing what you do and who you serve.

·         Find new vendors and contractors to support your association.

·         Meet desired new contacts through warm introductions from people you already know.

·         Discover and recruit new volunteers and staff.

·         Mingle more effectively within your organization to improve your effectiveness.

·         And… network more effectively with the Association Forum and maximize your membership!

Speaker:  Gail Sussman Miller founded Inspired Choice to work primarily with women solopreneurs to teach them how to love business obstacles and overcome them with ease.  Gail uses networking to build her business, invitations to deliver workshops, write articles, get media placements and to attract clients.  She offers obstacle-busting workshops and tele-classes like How to Love Networking (Speaking, Selling) for individuals and groups.

Gail is a reformed clutterer, a recovering perfectionist and calls herself a "mid-life bloomer" Baby Boomer. After years of waiting to feel inspired, or confident enough, or ready, or good enough, she found her true passion in work, marriage, motherhood and life all after the age of 44!  Now she helps others to stop waiting by getting really clear about what they truly want, reframing "yes, but" thinking, making inspired choices and taking action.
