Compensation and Benefits Survey

One of our highest-rated services zeroes in on compensation, benefits and office policy trends in Chicagoland associations. Whether you need to fill a position, conduct a performance evaluation or seek a new job opportunity for yourself, a key factor is the ability to make a competitive analysis based on market factors.

For all but five of its 85+ years, the Association Forum of Chicagoland (the Forum) has produced a compensation and benefits survey to assist Chicagoland association/nonprofit professionals in measuring compensation, benefits and office practices in our metropolitan area. The survey provides accurate, reliable and understandable data for association and nonprofit professionals to use as a guide in making informed decisions governing their organization's salary policies or comparing their organization's compensation level with similar positions in other organizations. At the same time, Forum members use the survey data as leverage to achieve fair compensation levels.

The Compensation Section of the survey is composed of three areas: Multi-Function Position Section, Job Summary by Budget Category and Job Summary by Department.

For your benefit

The benefits section also includes expanded questions on tuition reimbursement and severance/downsizing. The section also contains data for part-time positions, including: determining pay levels, minimum hours required for benefits and percentages of benefits provided.

Again this year, the Forum will offer a Customized Comparison Report to organizations that have participated in the survey.  The Customized Report will compare your numbers to the most similar organizations in our sample.  The Customized Comparison Report is available for an additional $50.
