CAE Scholarship

This scholarship is designed to assist an association professional in gaining the American Society of Association Executive (ASAE) designation of Certified Association Executive (CAE).  Recipients will receive an award covering the costs of the application fee, study class registration, and the standard CAE study materials.  Candidates who are from populations underrepresented in the association/nonprofit management industry as defined by the Association Workforce Diversity Program are encouraged to apply.

The Association Forum Foundation provides the funding for this scholarship.

Eligibility:

1.Is a current member of the Association Forum.
2. Appears to meet the eligibility requirements to apply for the CAE designation.
3. Demonstrates a financial need.

Selection:

Candidates are required to complete and submit the standard Association Forum Scholarship Application by September 1 for the December exam and February 12th  for the May exam.  A scholarship task force of the Association Forum CAE Working Group will review and select the winner.  Two scholarships will be awarded each year, one per CAE application period.

Scholarship Award:

Recipients will be reimbursed for the following:

1. ASAE CAE application fee ($500 for an ASAE member; $700 for a non-ASAE member);
2. The Association Forum CAE Study Group Class ($165 member price);
3. A full CAE reference set (approx. $210 w/tax & shipping)

(NOTE:  For reimbursement for #1, recipient will need to submit a copy of the ASAE CAE Application and proof of payment.)
