Study Groups

When do study groups meet?

• From March through April for the Spring exam date 
• From October through November for the Fall exam date

Tuesday or Thursday nights; downtown or suburbs, depending on geographic mix of participants.

What's the format?

Informal, interactive discussion facilitated by two "graduates" of the CAE program. Discussion is tailored to build on participants' existing knowledge base, and focuses on integrating experience and textbook knowledge by working through case studies.

How much time does it take?

The study group meets from 5:30 to 8:00 for seven weeks.  Feedback from recent participants indicates that they spent from 4-6 hours reviewing the materials and recommended reading each week, with more time being spent closer to the exam. How much time you spend preparing for each class and the exam will relate to your comfort level with the material for each domain.
