The P.D. Hermann Institutes for Organization Management Scholarship
The Association Forum of Chicagoland Foundation is pleased to announce the
availability of the P. D. Hermann Scholarship to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce
Institutes for Organization Management.
This program is attended by more than 2,200 association and chamber of
commerce executives in five locations. The typical first-year program would
include the following courses: introduction to association management, finance,
association law, developing external manpower, and more. Each succeeding year's
curriculum becomes more complex and diverse in the four-year program. Pre-class
readings and tests help attendees prepare for their classroom experience.
Attendees earn 30 CAE certification points per week.
Institutes is an invigorating break from the everyday pressures and routine
of association office activity and will provide participants with important
tools and references to perform more effectively in their management
responsibilities.

Applicants must be Association Forum members.
About the P. D. Hermann Scholarship
The scholarship is named after Bud Hermann, a past president of the
Association Forum and ASAE, and is funded through the Association Forum's
Foundation Endowment Fund. The scholarship will be awarded based on financial
need and career promise. The scholarship is for tuition only and does not
include room, board, or transportation.
