Scholarships

The Association Forum is committed to providing the highest level of educational opportunities for all of our members.  To make some programs more accessible, we offer several scholarships:

Association Forum Education Scholarships

Through the Forum Foundation's Endowment Fund, scholarships are made available for a variety of Forum educational programs. These scholarships offer recipients a quality learning experience and the opportunity to meet association professionals from all areas. Eligibility: Scholarships are available for Forum members only.  The deadline for the 2008 Annual Meeting Scholarship is June 9, 2008.  Please click here for a scholarship application.

The Michael Ferguson Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to one meeting planner to attend the Professional Convention Management Association's (PCMA) annual meeting held each January. The program consists of intensive educational programming balanced with social events offering unlimited networking opportunities. Scholarship covers registration fees only.

The P.D. Hermann Scholarship

This scholarship awards one-year's tuition for one recipient to the U. S. Chamber of Commerce Institutes for Organization Management. Eligibility: The scholarship is awarded based on financial need, career promise, and commitment to the four-year program. The applicant must be an Association Forum member and not a prior P.D. Hermann scholarship recipient.

Association Workforce Diversity Scholarships

This scholarship was created to advance a diverse group of professionals who are in the development stages of their careers and to help them meet career challenges in association/nonprofit management. Candidates may nominate themselves or be nominated by other individuals. Eligibility: Candidates must be of a minority ethnic/racial group (i.e. American Indian/Native Alaskan; Asian/Pacific Islander; Black, African-American, West Indian; Hispanic) or a person with disability(ies) and have a minimum of three years of experience in the association/nonprofit field.
