Scholarships The Association Forum is committed to providing the highest level of
educational opportunities for all of our members. To make some programs
more accessible, we offer several scholarships:
Association
Forum Education Scholarships
Through the Forum Foundation's Endowment Fund, scholarships are made
available for a variety of Forum educational programs. These scholarships offer
recipients a quality learning experience and the opportunity to meet association
professionals from all areas. Eligibility: Scholarships are available for Forum
members only. The deadline for the 2009 Annual Meeting Scholarship
is June 9, 2009. Please click

The
Michael Ferguson Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to one meeting planner to attend the Professional
Convention Management Association's (PCMA) annual meeting held each January. The
program consists of intensive educational programming balanced with social
events offering unlimited networking opportunities. Scholarship covers
registration fees only.
The P.D.
Hermann Scholarship
This scholarship awards one-year's tuition for one recipient to the U. S.
Chamber of Commerce Institutes for Organization Management. Eligibility: The
scholarship is awarded based on financial need, career promise, and commitment
to the four-year program. The applicant must be an Association Forum member and
not a prior P.D. Hermann scholarship recipient.
Association Workforce Diversity Scholarships
This scholarship was created to advance a diverse group of professionals
who are in the development stages of their careers and to help them meet
career challenges in association/nonprofit management. Candidates may
nominate themselves or be nominated by other individuals. Eligibility: Candidates must
be of a minority ethnic/racial group (i.e. American Indian/Native
Alaskan; Asian/Pacific Islander; Black, African-American, West Indian; Hispanic) or
a person with disability(ies) and have a minimum of three years of experience in the
association/nonprofit field.

Association Forum Foundation CAE Scholarship
This scholarship is designed to assist an association professional in gaining
the American Society of Association Executive (ASAE) designation of Certified
Association Executive (CAE). Recipients will receive an award covering the costs
of the application fee, study class registration, and the standard CAE study
materials. Candidates who are from populations underrepresented in the
association/nonprofit management industry as defined by the Association
Workforce Diversity Program are encouraged to apply.
