The New Overtime Rule: Everything You Need to Know, Now

The Department of Labor's final overtime rule will take effect on December 1, 2016. This new rule dramatically increases the minimum salary limit that qualifies employees as exempt from overtime pay. The new rule more than doubles the current minimum, from $23,666 to $47,476.
