THE ASSOCIATION FORUM OF CHICAGOLAND: ADVANCING ASSOCIATIONS SINCE 1916
At the Association Forum of Chicagoland, our mission is to "advance the professional practice of association management."
The Forum is the "association of associations" — a community of more than 3,500 members including the CEOs and staff professionals from nearly 1,500 membership organizations. Serving as a "living learning laboratory," Forum provides local education programs, facilitates peer-to-peer connections, models best practices and publishes the award-winning FORUM magazine.
In addition, Forum is nationally recognized as an innovator in Web 2.0 and social media. Our community—online and off—is comprised of 47,000 association professionals in the Chicagoland area whose collective efforts serve more than 37 million members worldwide and generate $22 billion in global annual expenditures.
In fact, Chicagoland is the nation's second largest association headquarters city and is home to the largest collection of healthcare associations in the world. If that sounds like a lot, it is: Chicagoland associations have combined annual budgets of more than $9 billion.
The Forum Promise: Essential Learning. Compelling Experiences. Powerful Resources. ... more

"Being a first time exhibitor at Association Forum's Holiday Showcase in 2008, I was unsure what to expect. The event surpassed any expectations with its organization, execution and the great opportunity it offered me as an exhibitor. I walked away with solid leads and we look forward to exhibiting again next year."
— Kimberly Kett, Director of Business Development, Texterity, Inc.

"Holiday Showcase 2008 was a huge success for us again this year. With over 40 Hyatt Hotels represented, we maximized our exposure in this very important market. We obtained eight pieces of business, six of which are now definite, worth more than $2.6 million."
— Carol Buseman, Director of Worldwide Accounts, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts
Before you were even in kindergarten, you probably knew the importance of brushing your teeth. Scrub gently in circles. Don't forget the ones way in back. It helps clean off dirty little things called bacteria.
And the reason all this was important? Because dirty teeth can cause gum disease. And gum disease can make all your teeth fall out. Now that's pretty motivational, both for young children and adults alike. ... more
