Commitment To Diversity The Association Forum of Chicagoland embraces diversity as a strategy to advance the effectiveness of associations and nonprofit organizations. The Forum's members represent all aspects of society, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, age, physical ability, sexual orientation, religion and family status. The Forum is a totally inclusive organization, which values the differences in its membership and recognizes that this diversity adds value to the organization, its mission and the quality of its programs and services. This section includes resources to enhance the diversity of your organization's membership and staff. (See the sub-menu list on the left.) On May 1st, the Association Forum of
Chicagoland committed a minimum of $1 million over the next 5 years to increase
the employment of diverse management personnel employed by Chicagoland
associations. This Diversity Workforce Partnership has four
elements:

DIVERSITY WORKFORCE PARTNERSHIP ORGANIZATIONS An essential component of the Diversity Workforce Partnership is the recruitment of at least 50 associations to make an annual commitment of at least 10 hours of staff time to assist with the Forum outreach effort at job fairs and speaking at events.
