2/10 – THE CEO AS MEETING PLANNER

2/12 – CAE APPLICATION DEADLINE

Hurry! The application deadline for the Certified Association Executive designation is this Friday. The extended application deadline, the last opportunity to apply, subject to an additional $100 fee, is March 12. 2/17 – SEO AND YOUR WEB SITE

This interactive presentation on Wednesday, Feb. 17, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., will help association professionals learn how to increase visibility and traffic to Web sites.  3/4 – PHRMA, ADVAMED CODES

Click here to register to attend the Improving your Business Practices to Align With the PhRMA and AdvaMed Codes education session on Thursday, March 4, from 3 to 5 p.m. The event, hosted by the Hawaii Convention Center and the Renaissance Hotel, can help medical associations adjust business practices to comply with regulatory changes.


ASSOCIATION FORUM CAE STUDY GROUPS FORMING

These informal, interactive discussion groups are facilitated by two graduates of the CAE program. The downtown and suburban study group meets from 5:30 to 8 p.m. for seven weeks.

The downtown group begins March 9 and runs through April 20. The suburban group begins March 10 and runs through April 21. Click here to learn more.


CHANGES TO CAE ELIGIBLITY REQUIREMENT

Eligibility requirements increased by 25 hours with a cap of 20 hours for each domain. If you plan to sit for the CAE exam in May or December 2010, your application must show 100 hours of professional development, including a maximum of 20 hours from any one domain.
