Gordana Krkic has worked in health policy for thirty-four years and has been with the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians since 1997. As the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Advocacy Officer, her role includes governance and policy. In addition, she promotes family medicine’s philosophy to government agencies, the Illinois legislature, other organizations and policymakers. She also serves as the Academy staff's coach for professional development and helps facilitate the Board’s professional development activities as well.
In 2001, Gordana received her CAE, Certified Association Executive. She is a Fellow at the Institute of Medicine of Chicago.
