Association Forum membership dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution but may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. To the extent that the Association Forum engages in lobbying, five percent (5%) of dues are not deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Association Forum is an individual membership society. Association Forum membership is individual rather than organizational, and is fully portable in the event of a change of employment (applicable to executive or supplier partner members). Substantial discounts are offered to members and may not be transferable to co-workers/nonmembers. Membership dues are non-refundable in accordance with the bylaws.
