Overview. The Publications Working Group provides industry expertise and fosters community through content creation. The group offers insight into topics and subject-matter experts aligned with Association Forum’s content strategy, with a specific focus on FORUM Magazine and other educational delivery modalities. The goal across all channels is to deliver innovative, actionable information on association management. The Working Group includes representation from the C‑suite, directors/managers, and functional experts/specialists.
The Working Group
- Plan and write—or solicit—articles for FORUM Magazine (online and print). Eligible authors may earn CAE hours. Members may be asked to provide feedback on topic coverage and content delivery.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance and update the integrated content strategy for relevance and value.
- Offer content ideas and refer subject‑matter experts for FORUM Magazine and other publications.

- Association professionals or supporting members with backgrounds in learning, knowledge management, professional development, and/or marketing and communications.
Time Commitment
Two in‑person meetings (2 hours each) plus monthly standing virtual meetings (1 hour each), along with time to complete assignments.
