The CAE Study Group runs twice per year and coincides with the two administrations of the CAE exam.

The Study Group takes place virtually every Tuesday from 5–7:30 p.m. for nine weeks.


Preparation is Key

To maximize your learning, it is strongly recommended to immerse yourself in the suggested readings before each session. Domains won't follow a linear path, but don't worry—we'll provide a comprehensive study guide during the first session*. You can find the recommended list of books and materials on the ASAE website.

Together, alongside your fellow Study Group participants and seasoned facilitators, you'll deepen your grasp of the vital knowledge needed to pass the CAE exam.

Program Details
  • Enjoy an extended 9-week course;
  • Take part in a dedicated test preparation session focused on test-taking strategies and study tips;
  • Engage in interactive learning through participant teach-back opportunities;
  • Take a CAE pre-test to quickly identify areas for concentrated study;
  • Receive a CAE Study Guide developed by ASAE;
  • Interactively discuss the previous week's readings and review questions and key terms;
  • Review identified best practices for each domain prepared by facilitators;
  • Take a simulated mock exam;
  • Receive CAE test-taking resources to enhance studying efforts; and
  • Be part of an private online member community of CAE facilitators and candidates to engage in online discussions and share resources outside of the classroom.
