Sam Mazzola is an instructional designer and talent development leader who has shifted to associations, material handling, and distribution logistics after years in the theme park industry. At MHI + WERC, she leads the development of courses, textbooks, and credentialing initiatives designed to create shared language and elevate professional standards across the field. She is passionate about inclusive learning design, leadership development, and building welcoming professional communities, and currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Welcoming Environment SIG with Association Forum.
Outside of work, Sam is a writer, vocalist, and avid tabletop RPG storyteller. She’s especially drawn to creative projects that explore identity, growth, and what it means to become fully oneself.
