Executive Leaders Program

Program Overview:

The Executive Leaders program is a six-month education and networking program for leaders who are looking to advance in the association industry.  Participants should be at a manager level or above (excluding CEO) within their organizations. 

Upon completion, Executive Leaders will receive a certificate representing the knowledge and experience they've acquired to take their career to the next level.

This program will take place from January - July, 2021.  Executive Leaders will participate in a series of learning modules and networking events to help them hone their skills and strengths in their current roles before formalizing a plan for their desired career trajectory.  

Learning Modules:

Introductory Session
: This session will include a self-assessment, set the stage for what to expect from the program and introduce the concept of the professional value proposition.

Welcoming Environment®
: This session will cover creating space for your team during a challenging year, cultivating a Welcoming Environment, how to use the WE resources and use them for your internal team and team leadership from the inside out.  

Communication Skills (Part 1)
: This session will cover internal networking as well as effective virtual communication, presentations and public speaking. 

Team Leadership
: This session will cover skills for managing projects and people, moving from tactical duties to strategic implementation, implementing change management, getting buy-in as the executive sponsor and leading diverse teams. 

Communications Skills (Part 2)
: This session will cover managing people, collaborating with colleagues in other departments and when to say yes and how to say no. 

Your Professional Value Proposition
: This session will cover determining personal value and recognizing the strengths you bring to your organization. Participants will complete a post-program self-assessment.

The deadline to apply for this program is January 29, 2021. Applications will be reviewed and applicants will be notified by February 5, 2021. This program will launch in February. The cost for this program is $500.
