Cassie Buchanan Martell is a Human Resources Director at the Bostrom Corporation. She has experience working for professional associations, start-ups, logistics firms, and Fortune 500 retail companies providing her expertise to staff in all human resource functions. She is best known for streamlining procedures and processes within her organization and creating inaugural resources for staff such as Event Planning Committees, Celebration of Diversity Committees, and minority affinity groups. Cassie believes that organizations can harness the full potential of their staff through HR strategies and diversity, equity, and inclusions efforts that serve both the employee and employer. She holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Professional with SHRM.
Cassie currently resides in MI, although a true Chicagoan at heart. She spends her free time learning about anything she can get her hands on. She has a passion to further diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the workplace but spends her weekends at a horse ranch learning to handle and train horses.
